CoMotion Fitness offers Personal Training that is fun, effective and rewarding for people of all abilities.

Launched in 2016 Colleen Madden is the sole owner of CoMotion Fitness qualified Certificate III in Fitness and Certificate IV in Personal Training with current qualifications in CPR and level 2 first aid. CoMotion Fitness is a registered NDIS service provider. 

About Colleen…

Colleen is a proud mum of two boys who has always had a passion for health and wellbeing and has been involved in sport herself or with her 2 children.

Colleen’s eldest son Rory has Down Syndrome and is an absolute fitness fan. Rory is the inspiration and motivation behind CoMotion Fitness. Rory has been very successful with his training over the years and he has a passion for achieving his goals. Colleen watched the positive affects that his training had on his strength, balance and energy and wanted to help others achieve the same positive outcomes.

Colleen spent many years volunteering at the Special Olympics Athletics while Rory was competing. Motivation is extremely important to Colleen and her goal is to help as many people as possible to reach their fitness potential and to encourage people to understand that it is not hard to be healthy.

What we do

CoMotion Fitness offers a wide range of services. Each client will complete a pre-health questionnaire before training begins. Initial meet and greets and/or consultations are also available with clients and carers if required. All programs are personalised for individual clients.

Bev and myself cannot thank CoMotion Fitness enough for what you have and are doing for our young man Anthony. Over the years we have tried different dieticians, gyms, therapies. We were at our wits end but Colleen of CoMotion has been a godsend. Colleen you have changed both my boys’ attitude to health & fitness. I tried countless trainers both at home and inside gyms and had no luck. How lucky was I to be referred to Colleen from CoMotion Fitness by a friend for personal training! With on going back and hip issues it was refreshing to find a PT who not only understood an aging body but listened to what I wanted to achieve. Colleen has a very positive & enthusiastic approach to training sessions that is literally infectious. My daughter has Down syndrome and a few issues with her feet: We found that although only twelve years old, she was becoming concerning sadatory due to foot pain. Colleen helped us come up with a program to keep my daughter motivated in her sessions to improve her overall fitness & mobility. Colleen was able to modify the program as my daughter transitioned to wearing new orthotics (smo’s). Colleen’s sessions are full of encouragement, music and a good variety of equipment to keep it fun, yet very focused on fitness goals. Thank you Colleen and CoMotion Fitness. Our daughter, Jacqui was not really benefitting a great deal from her program at the local gym, as there wasn’t adequate monitoring or supervision, and it didn’t really interest her. Last year Jacqui started personal training sessions with Colleen (CoMotion Fitness), and these sessions have become a really important part of Jacqui’s week!. In the past, Jacqui has not been that excited about exercising, so it is wonderful to see her getting her exercise gear on with such enthusiasm, working hard and being challenged, while at the same time clearly enjoying this time with Colleen – there is a lot of fun and laughter, but there are red faces, and hot, sweaty bodies as well. Colleen continues to tweak Jacqui’s program so that she doesn’t become bored, but still works toward her fitness goals. It is also such a benefit to have someone come to our home to deliver this service. CoMotion ticks a lot of boxes for us!
